"Meat eaters eat more soy than vegans."

A fact with no moral weight

They bring up a biological curiosity as if it settled the question. What matters is what happens to the animals.

Why it is weak

It's true that about three quarters of the world's soy becomes animal feed, and that is a good argument about deforestation.

But used against the fear of soy hormones, it's a non sequitur: meat eaters don't ingest the isoflavones in the feed the animal ate. The right answer to that fear is the studies in people, which show no effect on hormones.

How to say it better

For the fear of hormones, cite the studies in humans. For deforestation, yes, point out that most soy feeds animals.
